Welcome. I’m Lili and I'm so glad you’re here.

 

I’m a writer by calling and an EP / Sr Producer in advertising by vocation. American-born but raised in Colombia, a culture steeped in magical realism, I’m drawn to narratives that explore unseen forces and our interconnectedness.

What I most enjoy about being an EP/Producer is the relational side of the work,  creative collaboration, and the making of cool things. These skills bleed into my writing.

My creative aim is to hold nothing back on the page, then edit rigorously. To confront emotional truth with courage, clarity, and a touch of dark humor. To distill the turbulence of being human into art. If even one person sees themselves in my stories, feels less alone or more hopeful, then I have done my job.

 

I’m currently seeking representation for my YA novel, The Prophecy & The Thread.  I'm also developing two new novels, writing short stories and narrative nonfiction while freelancing full time as a producer. Never a dull moment.

 

I live in Silver Lake with my husband, our cat, and dog. You can catch us listening to music, traveling, enjoying good food, and hanging out with friends.
